Mechanical Draught — Pultruded Fibreglass

Pultruded fibre glass frame cooling towers.

Counter flow design pultruded fibreglass cooling towers for large industrial applications — supplied through our partnership with Hanf Cooling and alliance partners across European markets and beyond.

Overview

An innovative alternative to the traditional timber frame.

Through our partnership with Hanf Cooling and other alliance partners, ) (cps offers pultruded fibreglass frame cooling towers for large industrial applications across European markets and beyond.

The counter flow design uses unique fibreglass extruded sections combined with fibreglass panel technology — a structural approach with distinct advantages over the traditional timber frame in longevity, maintenance and consistency of build.

Towers are factory-assembled in sub-assemblies for fast, consistent and safe site construction, with pultruded fibreglass decks finished with non-skid coating throughout.

A distinct set of benefits

Advantages over traditional timber construction
01

Pultruded fibreglass

Strong, lightweight extruded sections that won't rot, warp or split — UV-protected and fire retardant as standard.

02

Counter flow design

Counter flow configuration for thermal efficiency, sized to the site's duty and water chemistry.

03

Factory-assembled

Components and sub-assemblies built off site for fast, consistent and safe site construction.

04

Non-skid deck

Pultruded fibreglass deck with non-skid coating throughout — safer maintenance access in all conditions.

05

Low maintenance

Fibreglass construction eliminates the rot, fastener corrosion and periodic timber replacement of traditional towers.

06

High performance

A modern structural approach without compromise on the thermal performance of the cooling tower itself.
